The war between the budgeted tablets seems restless and isn’t drawing a conclusion! This is for a reason that market is now flooded with expansive list of calling tablets and choosing the best one amid the available options is not really easy. While, all the gizmos pack almost same configurations and same specifications, even a little bit difference in any aspect can completely transform the face of the entire competition.
Strange but true! Therefore, every company has its own way of playing the legacy and over here it’s two profound tablet manufactures who are on a cold war to get through the throne namely, Karbonn and HCL. Karbonn on the one hand is known for its budgeted tablets while the HCL is undoubtedly a legend especially when compared with Indian based mobile phone company.
We have put Karbonn’s TA-FONE and HCL’s ME tablet in the arena. Let’s see who makes up to the winning stand.
Taking a nod from the technology driven world where everyone is going bananas over the dual core run, Karbonn seemed intelligently taking the advantage with its Arm 1 GHz Dual core processor. This is further partnered with smart 512 MB RAM which together with processor promises to deliver smooth multitasking capabilities without any lags or holdups.
HCL ME on the other hand was found coring 1GHz Cortex A9 CPU which is coupled with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. Thus, the monster DDR3 RAM can slightly be a thorn in the competition.
Advantage : More RAM means swift processing and easy handling of multiple applications. Thus HCL ME Connect tablet takes the trumpet in its own sphere.
2.OS and system interface:
The comparison over here would be pretty straightforward and sweet. Since both the tablet mobile are powered with same Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS, it’s not possible to evaluate the former or the later as the winner.
Karbonn TA FONE A39 is bolted with amazing 7 inches capacitive touch screen display which is set at a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels resolution.
Whereas, the rival HCL tablet is no way lagging behind in any aspect. The device also packs 7 inches capacitive touch screen display which is set at a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Alas! Both the device comes embedded with 7 inches display with same resolution.
Karbonn has taken care to pack its featured tablet with the dual camera support where the front camera mounts to VGA resolution sensor and the rear panel was found embedded with absolute 2 Megapixels snapper. The front camera is pretty decent for carrying out distortion free video calling while the rear camera is sharp enough to capture the moments live.
Not to forget about the HCL! The device packs 2 Megapixels rear snapper and 0.3 VGA camera. There’s not much difference between the cameras of both the tablet. More or less the quality is same.
Battery is one of the most important aspects for any digital device and longevity of performance has always been a need of the hour ever since the very beginning. Talking about the Karbonn A39, the tablet earns its power from massive 3000 mAh battery which promises a line drawing performance without a hitch.
HCL ME on the other hand churns its power from monster 3800 mAh battery which gives even better backup and without buzzing for frequent recharges.
Advantage: HCL ME
Verdict: Aforementioned, it’s never easy to make a best pick amid the available options. Neither it’s fun to draw the conclusion with a tie! Over here, HCL ME seemed to take the legacy with its prolific features and bundled hardware. Even though both the rivals were high on the roulette yet it’s the performance that matters.
